POINT’s Projects in Various Geographic Areas

POINT Organization has implemented 168 projects across multiple sectors, including Early Recovery, Livelihoods, Protection, Camp Management and Coordination, and Capacity Building in three main countries: Syria, Iraq, and Turkey. The projects are distributed as follows:

  • Syria: 107 projects implemented across different governorates and regions (), focusing on humanitarian response and sustainable development.
  • Iraq: 30 projects targeting livelihoods improvement, protection, and community capacity-building.
  • Turkey: 31 projects supporting refugees, capacity-building, and coordination with relevant authorities to ensure effective service delivery.

Geographic Distribution of Projects

1. In Syria:
  • POINT has carried out projects in various governorates (Idleb, Aleppo, Daraa, Alswida, and Alhasaka), and key areas in Northwest Syria, focusing on early recovery, infrastructure rehabilitation, cash-for-work programs, small business support, and the empowerment of vulnerable groups through protection and education.
  • Projects also include camp management, provision of essential services, and coordination with local authorities and partner organizations to ensure an effective response.
2. In Iraq:
  • Projects focused on livelihoods support, protection of vulnerable groups, and strengthening local capacities.
  • Implemented across multiple governorates, these interventions aim to improve living conditions and enhance employment opportunities for internally displaced people (IDPs) and host communities.
3. In Turkey:
  • POINT has implemented projects in various Turkish provinces, mainly focusing on refugee support, capacity-building, and coordination with Turkish governmental institutions.
  • Projects included training programs, psychosocial support, and empowerment of youth and women to promote long-term sustainability for refugees and host communities.
